Witchiepoo 1027D

Scary Tree 553N
5 1/4" x 4 3/4"

Supplies:  rubber stamps, acrylic blocks, cling foam, scissors, cardstock, black ink pad, pastel chalks, colored pencils, glue stick or double stick tape, ruler, bone folder, fixative.

Take two pieces of cardstock and cut 2 1/2" off the long end so you have an 8 1/2" square.  For the lid, measure in 1 1/2" on each side and score and fold.   For the bottom, measure in just a tad over 1 1/2" so your lid fits nicely over the bottom.
On both the lid and bottom, cut in one fold line to make your corners.  Rotate and cut one fold line for each corner.
Fold each corner shut and glue or double stick tape each one.
Your super easy box is done. :)
On a light piece of cardstock, measure a 6 1/2" square so you have a guide for your scene.
Stamp your scene within your guide lines stamping the Scary Tree to the left, the Jack-o-Lantern to the right and Bristly near the pumpkin.
Now stamp the Night Sky to the right and stamp Witchiepoo right in the middle without any masking.  Then stamp the Bats just to the left of the Night Sky.
Use your pastel chalks to color in the large areas.  I take a folded up piece of paper towel, rub it on the chalk and then rub that onto the paper.
Color in the stamped images with your colored pencils.
Crop your scene to 5 3/4" square to give the edges a matte all around.  You can use a fixative to keep the pastel chalks from smearing and when dry, affix your scene to the box lid.  Your treat box is done and it measures 6" x 6" x 1 1/2".  This will hold a lot of candy and maybe some trinkets like jewelry, a card, bookmark or some other present.  A fabulous Halloween gift to give to your best friend.
