I'm at the GA show this weekend but I had to show you this picture that Wally took last weekend.  There was a bass fishing tournament in Sacramento and if you watch ABC's The Bachleor then you should recognize Byron Velvick.  He is a pro bass fisherman who actually went on the show looking for a wife.  I still can't figure out why someone as good looking as this guy needed to have a show hook him up with women.  But now that I've seen the life of a pro fisherman I have a better understanding.  They travel from lake to lake for tournaments all over the US each weekend.  Their life is pretty much spent on the road.  Poor Byron, isn't he just ....well, HOT?!!!

I actually found his "official" website so you can see some better pictures of him:

Things are pretty much back to normal around here with Trevor doing just fine.  I'm almost done with taxes and I have my booth all packed up and ready to ship out to the Georgia show.  Spring is in the air and I noticed that the cattle were out back yesterday.  I didn't realize that they now have some youngsters....very curious youngsters!   Below on the left they came right up to me and checked me out really good and the picture on the right is one checking out the neighbors horse.  Just making new friends!

I'm home from the Indiana show and Trevor is doing just fine.  Actually, he's acting as if nothing ever happened.  But my credit card bill says otherwise.

Susan Quinn from MA showed up at the Indiana show.  When she walked up to my booth I actually had to stop for a second and think about what state I was in.  That's the problem with traveling so often.  You really do forget where you are.  There are times when I've checked in at the airport and they ask me what my destination is....and I don't know!  Anyway, Susan is the one that did the wonderful waterfall card, 3-d popup and spinner card (not sinner card!) tutorials for me.

Trevor is now home, but I'm still in Indiana so Wally has to take care of his baby, as in shove pills down his throat.  I bet when I get home that job gets handed over to me.

I haven't posted in forever because it's been nice and boring here.  Unfortunately that changed.  Trevor had to have surgery last night for a small bowel obstruction.  Seems that he's been eating things like rubber and plastic bags.  Now as I'm going through the house to Trevor-proof it I'm finding all kinds of bags in odd places that he's been grazing on.  Scrap rubber was always a toy to him so I have no idea what has brought this strange behavior on.  We went to visit him today and he was so happy, purring and making mooshy-mooshy.  He probably won't get to come home until Thursday and I'll be on my way to the Indiana show.

Below is a card done by Annemiek using our Walter Lily Bouquet.

Here's a nice sunset picture that Wally took while he was out on the lake fishing.

Kathi Bobb emailed me this card that she made with our Sunday Snuggle stamp.

Well I guess I gave some Beeswax members a good laugh with my newsletter.  I actually had some people upset that I didn't have a tutorial for a "sinner" card!  Funny people!

I just had to show off what I think is the best bead I've ever made.  I recently made some big holed beads for a friend and had so much fun that I made this one.  It took 2 1/2 hours to make and I'm just so happy with how it turned out!

I packed Wally up on Thursday to go to the Riverside, CA rubber stamp show.  Since then I've been trying to get some things done.  It's hard when you get in that procrastination mode to get yourself out of it.  But I managed to get the spinner card tutorial up that Susan Quinn did for me.  She even made a movie of the card's movement which is just too cool!

I have some bracelets to make and maybe another gallery to update and then hopefully on February 1st I'll be sending out a newsletter to everyone.

I'm not sure what got into Wally last night but he decided to leave the sprinklers on in the back to create a "frozen garden" (insert rolling eyes smilie face here).  Don't worry about killing any plants.  The peach trees were already dead and hopefully this will kill the blackberry vines...seems nothing else does kill them.  Californians, go figure.

So I now have the first stamp show of the year behind me.  Came home and caught up on mail orders and got some beads made.  Now it's gotten so cold here that I spent today adding artwork to a bunch of the galleries.  I've had enough of the computer for one day!  I'll get more cards added later, hopefully to Mark's gallery and I also need to put up the convention schedule for the year.
